East African Ruby on Rails Training Workshop

Dear staff and Students

DICTS will be hosting the East African Ruby on Rails training workshop on the 22nd October 2016 at our CEDAT office starting at 9:00am-6:00pm.
Ruby on Rail is an opensource programming language that allows you to build modern web applications.

The University ICT policy encourages the use of opensource platforms as well as the development and use of opensource applications.The use of opensource software encourages innovative thinking besides the many benefits associated with it (http://open-source.gbdirect.co.uk/migration/benefit.html).

The event has been organised by DICTS in conjunction with Banta technologies (BT) and is the first of a series of professional training events and seminars that we plan on organizing for purposes of improving our professional ICT skills as well as networking with other ICT organisations.

The attendance fee for the training workshop is 60,000/= for working professionals and 30,000/= for students and the venue will be DICTS-CEDAT offices on Saturday the 22nd/10/2016.
