Elias holds an MBA-IB (International Business) from Amity University of India, a B.Sc. in Information Technology from Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), CCNA certificates. He has proficiencies in networking and design setup, trouble-shooting networking problems, Computer Maintenance and repair, Giving ICT end user support, Systems and network administration tasks with over five Years of experience.

He is now the Systems Administrator under Directorate for ICT Support in-charge of Makerere University library, where he trouble-shoots any reported problems with library systems, plan and coordinates ICT training requirements for library staffs, provides support ICT support to end users in all institutional library units.
